G'day there.  We're still setting up, so we've got some time up our sleaves, but I was really interested in getting some turkeys.  I'm not sure whether you normally would sell them as fertile eggs for incubation or as live birds or how much purchase would be, but that's always a good place to start.  I'm quite familiar with many of the ins and outs of chicken breeding, housing and raising, at must admit, I had hoped turkeys would be quite similar, but I haven't yet delved deeply - so any guidance at this point would be fantastic.  I know they have a shorter laying time than chickens, so I'll also take the opportunity to ask how available they are. I've been warned against running chickens and turkeys together, so wondered if they could share an grazing area with some sheep???
